Dear Friends,

For the fifth year Croatian caricaturists are gathering during August in Blato on island Korčula (Croatia) where they participate with their works at the Festival of caricatures titled «Laugh is the cure», i.e. for the awards «Golden fishbone» and «Golden bone». The first award is given to the best author coming from the coast or a river and the other one to the best author from the continent.

For the third year the Festival of humor is of international character. The best of the foreign participants is awarded a special trophy «Golden sea -urchin». The chosen caricatures will be presented on a festival between the 01st - 15 th, August 2004 and the winners will have organized transfer and stay  in Blato on island Korčula..

All participants of the Festival will also be given a book with printed works.  Your  participation will make this event more prestigious and ambitious.

The theme is general «The Sea,  Blato and all this….», with the subtitle «Tourism».
The deadline for the sending of your caricatures (two at the most) is 01.06.2004. They have to be original, on min. A4 format (210 x 297mm) and max. A3 (294 x 420 mm). Please enclose your full name and surname, town and country you come from, your address, e-mail and phone no., so we can send you the book and the publications of the whole manifestation.
